Lemmus POLO CUP AT "El Rey" Riviera maya

El Rey is the first outdoor polo field in the Mexican Caribbean, and can be found just 25 miles south of Cancun in Puerto Morelos. It is located in the middle of the jungle and only ten minutes away from the beach. The Polo Season is from the 11th November to 30th June which is the best time to combine it with a fantastic Cancun vacation. Yesterday, January 7 at 12HRS (time Nayarit) was held the national premiere of the film "My Last Day" in the movie theater san pancho cultural center in the Riviera Nayarit. To This event was attended by the governor of Nayarit, Ney González and renowned film director originally from Nayarit Sergio Tovar Velarde

Spectacular new year´s Eve concert

Lemmus offered great new year concert, which highlighted the soprano Alma Rocio Jimenez, along with the orchestra of the Riviera Nayarit. A night full of joy, which illuminate the sky at midnight, revealing the spectacular natural beauty that San Pancho offers.

The guests were fascinated by the great meal grourmet and musical extravaganza.

Peninsula Mazatlan art show

December 23rd, 2009 was the opening of the cultural season at Peninsula Mazatlan. Works by Glen Rogers and Yuri Zatarain were displayed in a lively evening of jazz and hors d'oeuvres bringing national and international art for the enjoyment of the Mazatlan society.

Almost a year after the inauguration of the San Pancho Cultural Center, the Celest Hotel also officially opened its doors. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on December 19th marking a new standard for hotels on Riviera Nayarit.

With this Cultural Center, the community of San Pancho aims to prioritize the arts and culture. One of their initiatives was the December 19th opening of an exhibition of works in plastic by 12 Cuban artists. The public could appreciate the 12-day efforts of these artists thanks to the San Juan Foundation.

Lemmus hosted the Winter Cocktail Party 2009 on December 18th. The presentation of real estate development trends and projects for 2010 was one of the highlights of this prestigious event, which took place in the lounge and pool area and was completed with gourmet catering by Thierry Blouet.

2009 softec seminar

Discussing the future of real estate in Mexico, the Softec Seminar was informative and eye-opening. Gene Towle, Managing Partner at Softec, who has been analyzing real estate and financial trends in the country for over 20 years, said at the seminar that the crossroads of the industry can advance its recovery in one to three years depending on the involvement of the government and the financial sector in 2010.

VALLARTA FILM FESTIVAL IN PENINSUSLA VALLARTA

The second gala night of the festival was held on December 3rd in the lobby of Peninsula Vallarta.

Cinemark presented the movie premier of “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus,” the last film starring Heath Ledger, at 6:00 pm. After the premier, Lemmus was given an exclusive presentation of this movie and a great cocktail party at Peninsula Vallarta followed.

TApatio open polo "second edition"

Lemmus sponsored the second Polo Tournament in Guadalajara which was full of action and personalities of the local society.

The tournament headquarters were in Tesistán Polo Club, located at the crossroads Colotlan and Tesistán in Tesistán, Zapopan, Jalisco.

VIVE MAZATLAN AT SEATTLE

The Department of Tourism and Development of the state of Sinaloa, Mexico hosted ‘Viva Mazatlan’ on October 29th at Seattle’s Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Among the hot subjects of the event was the current recession and the way it has affected the Mexican economy. It was also highlighted that thousands of American citizens have chosen Mexico as a way to stretch their retirement income.

Sky Residences Grand Opening

Sky Residences launched the first Sky tower condominium complex, starting operations in the area with a total investment of 600 million pesos.

Without doubt the biggest attraction of this opening was the fact that the apartments were already being delivered to their owners, who were slowly beginning to populate the mega development. At the time of the opening, the first tower was sold in its entirety with its 84 luxury apartments and penthouses.

MazatlÁn Cocktail Beach Party

Fashion Weekend at the Peninsula Mazatlan featured a presentation of sports cars Porsche 2009 and a Cocktail Beach Party.

This event was organized by Riu Hotels, GoMazatlan, Porsche, Peninsula Resort & Residences and Lemmus.

Copa del Rey Mexican Riviera

During the Third Copa del Rey participants lived the passion of polo in the heart of the Mayan Riviera. The competition that reunited the most important national figures of polo, took place over two weekends (May 9th, 10th, 15th and 16th) on the fields of Polo Country Club El Rey located 11 km west of Puerto Morelos.

OPEN HOUSE AT LOS VENEROS

The equinox of spring 2009 was received in the Riviera Nayarit with a great opening event. The first stage of the luxurious and exclusive Residential Development Beach Hotel and Club Los Veneros in Punta Mita was officially inaugurated. The event was hosted by investors and developers "Ouest" group; and "Icon" group; both represented by Miguel Angel Lemus.

The celebration included a spectacular Tequila Brunch with Mariachi, diverse talents and the distinguished presence of the governor of Nayarit Ney Gonzáles and his family, among others VIP guests.

The sport of kings has been practiced in Careyes for ten years now and is becoming more and more popular. The Cup was inaugurated in the first days of April, with 8 teams, ten days of a superb climate and great atmosphere.
